- This Smart Thermal Solar Panel (STS Panel) works on Solar Energy. This panel is connected in between Compressor and Condenser.
- Compressor outlet is connected to the panel inlet and panel outlet is connected to the condenser inlet. The gas from the inverter compressor enters the STS Panel.
- Here the gas absorbs heat from the SUN, using the 6 parallel parabolic aluminum reflectors situated in the Panel.
- Due to this heat absorption, it improves the Delta T thereby improving heat removal at the condenser which is especially useful during high ambient temperatures. This also stops the deration of capacity.This further heated refrigerant gas is returned from the panel outlet into the ACs condenser.
- The job of the compressor is the increase the temperature and pressure of the gas. Now, the STS Panel does partial work for the compressor using the heat from the sun and hence the RPM of the compressor reduces significantly.
- The thermal energy added to the system by the STS Panel correlates with the amount of energy saved by the reduction in compressor RPM allowing the components to operate at lower loads while providing equal or better cooling.
- This reduced RPM reduces faults in the system, reduces noise in the AC, increases life of the system, and of course most importantly, reduces electricity consumption by upto 50%
Our Technology:
The Smart Thermal Solar (STS) Panel integrates with Commercial Acs Works with multi-stage,
variable speed, and variable capacity compressors including tandems, and single speed
compressors with Variable Frequency Drives
The hot refrigerant gas from the compressor is connected to the top inlet of the STS Panel.
Heat and pressure are added to the refrigerant generated by the sun and the
heated/pressurized refrigerant is returned from the panel outlet to the HVAC units Condenser.
By adding heat to the refrigerant using the STS Panel, we can reduce the compressor’s energy
consumption by up to 40%!

The HTS Panel integrates with new and existing commercial VRV/VRF Inverter ACs.
The refrigerant gas which flows in the VRV system is fed to the HTS Panel and is heated by Solar Reflectors.
